So with the newest synapse 3 update came the apparent ability for synapse 3 to detect legacy devices but still cannot effect them in any way, all it does is open a link to the synapse 2 app. Yes I do realize that this is better then nothing, and it is good to see that razer hasn't completely forgotten about updating legacy devices. As well as the fact I'm aware of razer saying they need to completely overhaul a devices drivers in order to get legacy devices working with synapse 3, I am still pissed that my 2 year old $4000 laptop and my $100 orbweaver is no longer getting software support through synapse. It's kind of making me think twice about buying any new razer products in the future because what is going to happen when synapse 4 comes out? Will all of the products I currently own become unsupported again? Thanks for reading if you did, and I hope I'm not the only person that feels this way.

To reiterate: I'm using Razer Synapse 2 for my legacy devices, Razer Anansi Keyboard and Naga 2014 mouse. After upgrading to Windows 11, I can't even get Synapse 2's window to open up and login. I've tried reinstalling and many compatibility modes. Am I shit out of luck?

Then i tried it again, and again, and finally, i figured it out. This definitely didn't work on the early versions of Windows 11 but it appears to have changed. I reinstalled Synapse 2 legacy as someone in the comments did, but that wasn't enough. I'm on the latest version of W11.

I have Razer Deathadder 3500 dpi, my settings were set to 3rd fastest and enhanced pointer precision. I got the synapse drivers thinking it would help my mouse like 6 months ago. It made my mouse uncontrollable and I uninstalled it/reinstalled it like 8 times, along with removing the mouse drivers. Nothing fixed it, and I factory restored my computer. The mouse is now incredibly fast as it was before, and I need to use 3rd to slowest and enhance pointer precision settings in order to get the settings back to relatively normal.

Razer Synapse 2 is a handy tool to have if you want to customize your peripherals. The app makes it easy for you to save preferences, configurations, and add-ons to your Razer products. Moreover, it lets you configure performances, key bindings, and macros. It supports a wide range of new generation, as well as legacy Razer products. It comes with a few minor issues, but overall, it is a stable configuration tool that you can use.

I just installed an MSI ACE motherboard and when I put the vengence pro ram in Razer Synapse took it over.. Having said that, while playing Doom the MSI motherboard , lian li razer case and the ram get taken over by Doom and it is pretty sweet.

I got it back.. It is a product of MSI mystic light. It has a gaming mode and when you use it, razer takes over.. Its quite cool. As when you play a game that uses Razer Chroma like Doom, the game takes over the lighting. It also takes over the ram in this mode..

Can I use the Razer BlackWidow or Razer BlackWidow Ultimate with the legacy drivers? Legacy drivers for the Razer BlackWidow and Razer BlackWidow Ultimate are available. However, if you have already used your Razer BlackWidow keyboard with Razer Synapse 2.0, you will not be able to roll back to the legacy drivers. Razer Synapse 2.0 configures your keyboard in such a way that makes it only compatible with Razer Synapse 2.0 and not with the legacy drivers.

I stopped using Synapse 2.0 shortly after installing it, so unfortunately I do not have any additional troubleshooting information. Have you tried this? -> -synapse-2-0-offline-saved-settings-and-login-for-offline-pcs

Both products work, but if synapse does not recognize them for some reason i cannot customize. If mouse is not visible there i am stuck with a god awful slow mouse or god awful fast mouse. If keyboard is not visible i cannot see shit with the lights off.

In case you want to factually recreate your old synapse accel curve, only option is to do some reverse engineering. Just install the old driver / mouse you are used to at the same time as Custom Curve, and then use an Autohotkey script whilst toggling between the two, measuring the resulting sensitivity using a precise amount of counts from the script, and adjusting the value in Custom Curve until you have the same length of line. You'd need to use the AutoHotInterception Library to send it through the driver, and then just match up the razer sensitivity at each count per update with a resulting sensitivity value in Custom Curve. You could do this using just drawing simple lines in paint until they match to the pixel. It would take a few hours of your time but is straight forward enough to do. Once you have mapped the curve, then just save it for future use on your new mouse / driver.

Here's some simple code I just wrote that would do the task for you in AHK with the AHI library, just read through the dox on the github page to get setup.

Razer Synapse 2.0 is now available for download to the public and currently supports the Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming peripherals by Razer, the Razer Blade gaming laptop, Razer Naga HEX action-RPG/MOBA gaming mouse, and the award-winning Razer Naga MMO gaming mouse. Razer Synapse 2.0 is designed as a unified driver, so settings for Razer products are conveniently accessible through one single program instead of through separate and multiple drivers. Razer will continue to add support for more of Razer's legacy and upcoming products.

On a side note, if you're having a similar issue with the legacy Razer Synapse 2, then try reinstalling the program, and when prompted to install Synapse Surround, click Cancel to prevent it from installing.

i did but i did it manually before installing and reinstalling. So far it moved to 66% but the dl speed is super slow like 300kbps. I downloaded an update for hogwarts legacy on steam while waiting for this to get past 65% and Just as I finished the update it went up to 66% but seems to be stuck there now.

I lost my right index finger this year and have been looking for a mouse to compensate. I just wanted a few keybinds like double click and rift scan, maybe a mount. but the mice bind keys on open desktop, like double click opens folders, but in game it does nothing, right and left click and roll the ball. so far i have tried the cyborg (this is NOT a mouse) the ergo m575, the kensington ergo trackball and the EX-g pro and deft pro. they all just suck and wont key bind inside the game. is there a block? I remove old software, clean registry and legacy file, run software in admin, etc. The binds inside the game are the same, like ctl+d to mount skyscale and the keybind outside is the same. I don't want to quit playing over an input device, but I cant handle things like identify 100 fill in the blanks. Thank you in advance. I tried flatter mice and towers first, roller balls are just my latest. I have a true mouse graveyard.

Razer, on the other hand, showed off its Synapse 2.0 suite, allowing Razer owners to upload their peripheral bindings and settings to the cloud. The suite saves users' time in moving from product to product, and Synapse 2.0 already has 650,000 profiles in less than six months. New Razer products will have the Synapse chip integrated, while legacy support for older accessories is coming in the latter half of the year. ff782bc1db
