Same exact issue. Using the most recent build of razor synapse. Razor nari essential 7.1 wireless. Reinstalled already even made sure that net was up to date. I think I'll just be switching brands as well. This only started recently for me.

same problem for months - just reinstalled windows due to other instability and within a few days the razer problem has recurred. Windows 10. Going to uninstall synapse as I only have the headset and it seems to work fine without the razer software

So I've been using razer products for well over 15 years and haven't had an issue. That is until I tried it on windows 11. Before we get into this, I want to specify that I am an I.T. and I do not officially own any of these parts. However I do have access to these for testing purposes. I tested this out on three high powered PCs. Two with the exact same specs and one with more modern hardware.

Comparing the ones that are identical (one with windows 10 and the other with windows 11), I seem to be having issues with the one with Windows 11. However with Windows 10, it's a much better experience. Both using Razer Huntsman v2 (linier red switches) and a Razer Basilisk V3 pro.

Windows 11 didn't launch synapse automatically and I had to go into the task manager to kill all the synapse related programs that were open. They were all running, but they would not open a window for them no matter what I did. After stopping Razer synapse from running in the background several times, it finally launched properly. Set profiles we're having issues syncing up to the games I set them up for.

Now, moving on to the more modern PC with Windows 11 installed. I had similar issues to the last gen PC with Windows 11. However, synapse would definitely launch upon startup. But after having minimized for a few hours and playing some games, it refused to open back up.

I ran this exact same test on the identical ones, and the Windows 10 PC successfully opened up the program after a few hours of gaming with no problem. The last gen windows 11 PC however, I had the same issues as the more updated PC when trying to expand the window after a few hours of gaming.

Chances are this could be a bias observation, but I feel like Windows 11 overall still needs a lot of work to run most of these programs. That's not to say that many people out there aren't having an amazing experience with Windows 11. But I feel like Windows 10 runs Razer synapse much better.

Having the same issue. Just installed an update last night and I am unable to click any window beyond the window I was initially on. For some reason, opening task manager fixes this, but my reassigned keys and macros are broken. Strangely enough, when I exit all razer apps, my reassigned keys work- though macros still do not, obviously.

I tried to reinstall razer synapse in hopes that there may have just been an interruption while installing the update. For some reason, I was not asked to restart my computer after reinstalling razer synapse, but WAS asked to restart just for an update? Regardless, this did not fix the issue as it still persists.

In my case the razer synapse SW will refuse to open after a couple of days, forcing me to reinstall (do this from the latest installer) and after that it opens but I have the issue with the non responsive taskbar clicks.

What I wish to do is find a way to enable game mode consistentently, while also not disabling the command/windows key, as I am using it quite a bit outside of game (window snapping, and a few key bindings). I have determined that the keybindings already set (command + down, Command + Right, etc) function with gaming mode off, and with Synapse shut down. The issue is that I have a lazy brain and forget to turn it back on when starting a game, so the problem becomes either needing a way to enable command key with gaming mode on (the box is checked and grayed out in Synapse), or making a batch file with game launchers that will enable gaming mode again. (I prefer not turning Synapse off permanently, as I have several programs mapped to the M keys that I use daily).

This issue can occur because of USB port connection issues. Some users have revealed that plugging Razer devices into different USB ports on their PCs resolved the issue of synapse not detecting them. So, try unplugging your Razer device and plugging it into an alternative USB port. Also, plug the device directly into your PC without using any intermediary USB hubs.

How can I use Synapse with SignalRGB and everybody happy?

How do I get SignalRGB to recognize things again? and allow me to reconfigure.

How do I get SignalRGB to start with windows again?

How can I disable Nahimic without stopping SignalRGB from starting?

Hey guys, thanks for the input. Im trying to use the viper with windows 10 pro. I have a feeling that synapse is causing my kvm grief, but without it the mouse is not working at all. I really like the mouse so id rather not replace it, i got the cyberpunk verson and it looks incredible.

Essentially (if the video gets taken down), windows+r, run "services.msc", double click "Human Interface Device Service", under "General" tab, there should be a "Start-up type", set it to "Automatic", then just restart your computer.

Hello to all, a few moments ago the daily scan took place in my computer and it detected the Razer Synapse Installer as a backdoor.nanocore , the weird part is, it's been on my computer since I've installed windows because I use synapse, and yesterday's scan did not detect anything, does anyone know if this might be a false positive or should I be worried?

I was thinking that my Raedon driver was crashing with no error, but it was my razer synapse. Uninstalled synapse and no more crashing to desktop. I'm 100% all my crashing was synapse, hope this help others as well. Good luck

Hello @EA_Kent , sorry I've been slow to post back due to testing on my end. I wanted to get this right not just for me but others who want to play the game. I started getting crash to desktop once again with the razer software not installed. All up to date drivers and fresh load of windows 10 and 11 and 6800xt as well as the 6900xt. Due the the randomness of the crashing I started looking at my memory, and tested it with mem86. It passed all test, but I was not convinced that all was good. My 5900x supports up to 3200mhz memory, and thats whats in my system with docp enabled along with resize bar. I ordered new ram but slower ddr4 3000 instead of 3200. Just trying to give a little head room to the memory controller, Maybe I didn't win the cpu lottery and just have a weak chip. I installed the new memory with docp and resize bar turned on, and retested once more with all test passed. fresh load of windows 10 and all up to date drivers and as of today I have not had any crashing to the desktop, little over 48hrs now. I also installed the razer software and all is good, I also tested the roccat software which work fine as well. I would like to give it a day or two more just to be safe, before I confirm its fixed. Game is smooth with 6800xt and 6900xt with resize bar on and docp enabled. As of today the radeon driver I'm testing with is Adrenalin 21.10.2 along with chipset driver 3.10.08.506 from amd's website. Thanks for your question @EA_Kent, I will post a up date over the next two days.

I was struggling with this issue and figured out how to fix it with the Razer Kraken Kitty Headset. Go to sound settings if you are on windows 11, scroll to the very bottom and click "more sound settings", right click on your kraken kitty audio source, go to properties, click spatial sound, and change it from off or whatever its on and switch it to Windows Sonic for Headphones. this will fix the audio distortion. If it doesn't work right after you do that, go to synapse and turn off THX audio under audio then mixer. Hope this helps!!!!!

I just encountered this problem myself, going into the control panel then going to the properties of my razer headset (Kraken Ultimate), going to surround sound, then setting it to "Windows Sonic for Headphones" fixed the issue!

I tried shutting down my laptop and connecting the core x and turning the laptop on. but when i do that the core x keeps getting disconnected and reconnected again and again, until i "safely remove.." it, unplug it, plug it again, then its recognized by synapse but again, the gpu is not detected and I cannot get any output from it. ff782bc1db
