Before Fame

SCHOOL

Ray went to Kearny High School. He graduated from here in 1995. After this, he went to two different colleges. He went to William Paterson University and Montclair State University.

Work Before My Chemical ROmance

Ray got an influence on music from his two brothers and this influenced the jobs he had. He learned guitar and was in several small local bands. He also at one point was playing drums in a short lived band called Dead Go West. That is the band he was in when he joined My Chemical Romance.

What did he look like?

Ray had short hair and glasses at the time. Pictured on the right is his high school yearbook photo.

How did he meet Gerard and Mikey?

Ray met Gerard and Mikey through somebody else that went to art school with Gerard. His name was Shawn. Once meeting, Ray immediately became closer with Mikey for the reason that he didn't see Gerard much. Gerard was very introverted and didn't really leave the house so he saw Mikey a lot more.
