The Merrill School Garden Club is designed to engage young children in understanding each element of STEM - science, technology, engineering, and mathematics - as it pertains to gardening!
Children will learn that scientists investigate and answer questions, and they will become scientists by testing soils, seeds, and spaces for gardening.
Children will learn that gardeners are engineers who must design the most appropriate space for plants to grow and thrive.
Children will understand that mathematics is a part of gardening through counting and measuring, and a part of nature through the patterns they observe.
We are excited to announce that the Garden Club is at the Merrill School in Raynham, MA!
It will take place immediately after school on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:30pm on the following dates: May 5, 12, 19, 26, & June 2.
Cost: $90 per child
Merrill School Garden Club is a 5-session program and the cost covers all sessions. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions, but can offer a refund if your registration is canceled prior to the club beginning or for other extenuating circumstances that might prevent your child from participating in the majority of the classes. We have an enrollment minimum of 12 children and maximum of 20 children.
