This Privacy Policy explains how Rayca (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Rayca mobile application and related services.
Rayca is a camera application that allows users to capture and process photos, apply film-style rendering, and use optional features such as GPS-based location tagging and subscriptions. Based on the current app configuration you shared, Rayca uses device permissions for camera access, photo saving, and optional location capture, and offers subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
Depending on how you use the app, Rayca may access the following information on your device:
Rayca requests access to your device camera so you can capture photos in the app.
Rayca requests permission to add photos to your photo library so captured images can be saved to your device. The permission flow in the code uses photo-library add access.
If you enable GPS/location features, Rayca may access your approximate or precise location while you use the app in order to attach location information to captured photos. Location capture is optional and controlled by the app setting for GPS. The app code also stores the last location values locally on device for use when GPS capture is enabled.
If you purchase a subscription, payments and subscription management are handled by Apple through the App Store. Rayca uses StoreKit to load products, process purchases, restore purchases, and check current entitlements.
We use accessed information only to provide app functionality, including:
enabling camera-based photography features
saving captured images to your device
optionally attaching GPS/location information to photos when you enable that feature
enabling and managing subscription access through Apple’s systems
These uses are reflected in the current app code you provided.
Based on the current code you shared, Rayca appears to perform its image-processing and camera feature workflows locally on the device, including preview rendering, film simulation selection, and capture handling.
Rayca uses Apple services for subscriptions and purchase restoration through the App Store. Apple may process payment and subscription-related information in accordance with Apple’s own privacy practices.
If you enable location features, location data is used for app functionality on your device. Based on the current code provided, location is stored locally for capture purposes.
Rayca may rely on Apple-provided frameworks and services, including:
StoreKit for subscriptions and purchases
Photos for saving images to your photo library
Core Location for optional GPS/location tagging
AVFoundation for camera functionality
These frameworks are visible in the current app code.
You can control app permissions through your device settings, including:
camera access
photo library access
location access
You can also manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store. Apple requires subscription apps to provide privacy and terms links in app metadata and the app itself.
Photos you capture and save through Rayca are stored on your device and in your photo library according to your own device and Apple Photos settings. If GPS capture is enabled, the app code stores recent location values locally on the device for capture use.
Rayca is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated version with a new effective date.
