I LOVE computer science and education. I have a Ph.D in Computer Science from University of Utah, Utah K12 teaching licence, M.S. in Computer Aided Language Learning from Carnegie Mellon University, and B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. I have more than a decade of practice in both K12 and higher education. I have spent a decade in higher education and 2 years in K12 at DaVinci Academy, including time working on several major grant projects where I taught hundreds of teachers and thousands of students how to program. 

I was blessed to learn about computers at a young age(younger than 10 years old), and to be able to learn about computer hardware and software as part of my regular school day through a gifted program in Texas.  That education has blessed my life in so many different ways.  Many kids like me want to learn about technology; I hope this book will help them do that.
