Our Mission

Rawdah : garden ; meadow

Our mission is to create a Rawdah of seeds of hope within society by means of providing necessary and crucial resources to families around the world. Initially, our Kassala Village Campaign primarily involved two of three aspects

1) Creating a community garden 

2) Providing financial assistance 

These are really essential for residents BUT, we realized upon committing to such goals, we would only be reinforcing the cycle of poverty rather than breaking it. Therefore, we decided to shift our focus to two points 

1) Providing urgent aid 

• This includes emergency funding for food, surgeries, medicine, etc. 

2) Small business establishments

• This is our ultimate long term goal, while of course also providing emergency aid upon need. 

But we could also like to incorporate the funding of..

3) Education, sports, and other opportunities:

• Funding for education, sport and other opportunities would further allow individuals to cultivate skills and improve personally and economically. 

Breaking the cycle of poverty and dependency is our mission. We believe that everyone deserves to have and maintain their dignity, sense of independence, and have the ability to provide for their families.
