At Ultimate TikTok Cleanup, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what the Chrome extension does with data when you use it.

Ultimate TikTok Cleanup is a browser extension that helps you scan and remove TikTok Favorites, Reposts, Likes, and (optionally) your own Posts using TikTok’s website while you are logged in.

Ask for your TikTok password
Send your account data, videos, or browsing history to our servers
Use analytics SDKs, ads, or trackers
Sell or share personal data with third parties
Load or run remote/third-party code from our servers
The extension has no backend of ours. Cleanup actions run in your browser against tiktok.com only.

To work, the extension may use Chrome local/session storage on your computer for things such as:
Activity log summaries (e.g. how many items were removed in a session)
UI preferences (e.g. last cleanup type, pacing settings)
Temporary scan/selection state while you review items
This data stays in your browser profile. You can clear it by removing the extension or clearing extension storage in Chrome.

Only domain where the extension runs. Used to list and remove Favorites, Reposts, Likes, or your own Posts while you are logged into TikTok.
cookies
Reads TikTok session cookies needed for authenticated requests (e.g. CSRF/security tokens). Not sent to us.
storage
Saves logs and settings locally on your device.
scripting
Injects scripts on TikTok pages so scanning and cleanup can run through TikTok’s own page APIs.
tabs
Detects whether the active tab is TikTok and opens the UI on the correct tab.
The extension does not request access to other websites.
5. How cleanup works

You open TikTok and log in normally in Chrome.
You choose what to clean (Favorites, Reposts, Likes, or My Posts).
The extension scans lists available to your logged-in session and lets you review/select items.
On confirm, it sends the same kinds of remove/delete actions TikTok’s site would use.
Deleting your own posts is permanent and only proceeds after an extra confirmation in the UI.

We do not integrate third-party analytics or data brokers.
Requests go only to TikTok (as part of using their site). TikTok’s own terms and privacy policy apply to your TikTok account and their services.

The extension is not directed at children under 13. Do not use it if you are not allowed to use TikTok or Chrome extensions under applicable law.

We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
