My scientific research career has been characterized by mobility. Undergrad studies, Master degree, PhD are all from different, well recognized universities in India and there is to add a short stay at the SRF Company, India. This mobility has made me adapt to new ways of thinking and it has strengthened my interpersonal abilities, broadened my research skills and made me a solid and independent researcher. I have published 9 scientific research papers (4 of them as a first author), 1 Book chapter and few under preparations. Several of them were published in high impact factor journals of multidisciplinary chemistry and sciences (e.g. Nat. Chem. Biol., Bioconjugate Chem., Org. Lett., Chem. Commun.), supporting the outreach and innovation of the research. This also demonstrates the high scientific merit and broad knowledge in diverse areas of organic chemistry and chemical biology. To disseminate my research, I participated in several national and international conferences and delivered oral and poster presentations (e.g. ACS National Meeting, ISBOC-10, ICOS-21, ACORN, National Science Day etc.). To improve my knowledge, I participated in several workshops (Animal course, Confocal microscopy, Flow cytometry), training courses (Leadership) and attended several webinars on various research topics. I have also qualified national level competitive exams (GATE and CSIR) and received several fellowships and awards (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship, FCT Fellowship and Grants, DST Project Fellowship, DST-SERB Travel award, Infosys IISER Pune Travel award, Senior Research Fellowship, CSIR-Junior Research Fellowship). During my PhD, I was a Teaching Assistant for the Laboratory courses to BS-MS students at IISER Pune. I have also worked as a Teaching Associate (part-time) for the NPTEL online courses (Medicinal Chemistry). I have trained many BS-MS, new PhD students well in organic synthesis and biological experiments and many of them are doing their research work in well recognized institutions in abroad, which gave me opportunity to improve my mentorship quality. I was a in charge for many instruments such as HPLC, NO Analyzer and tissue cell culture lab at IISER Pune. I was also an active committee member of the Chemphilic team at IISER Pune and organized events. I have also collaborated within the group, national and international experts in a variety of projects. I am a member of American Chemical Society, Marie Curie Alumni Association, IISER Pune Alumni Association. Also, a reviewer for few international journals. Also worked as a Guest Lecturer for short time (temporary) at Govt Arts and Science College, Palacode, Tamilnadu and gained huge knowledge on teaching, training, organizing events and other stuffs. Here I trained undergraduate students (Major and Allied) practical courses and theory courses with different activity-based training, quizzes, poster presentations, group discussions, seminars, assignments, career guidance & time management courses in the classes, which enhanced my teaching and training quality. My career path shows that I am able to adapt and learn quickly as well as team-up with researchers from different areas of knowledge.
