Hi, I'm Gayathri Raman. I am a former Assistant Research Professor in the field of observational X-ray astrophysics at Pennsylvania State University. where I have been member of the Swift GUANO group. My research interests include understanding neutron stars and their complex environments, fast transient phenomena like Gamma Ray Bursts and Fast Radio Bursts.
I am currently serving as the Program Manager for the large-budget project under the National Quantum Mission (NQM) – Quantum Materials and Devices Hub at IIT Bombay focused on developing wafer-scale emitter and detector arrays for multi-wavelength, room-temperature photonic quantum technologies.
