Certified as a Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician
I am passionate and dedicated to the healing journeys of survivors who have been through traumatic experiences. I am a licensed professional counselor, certified in trauma informed care, and certified as a narcissistic abuse treatment clinician. I have experience working with clients from various backgrounds with complex trauma histories. My approach is collaborative, nurturing, empathetic, direct, and non-judgmental because I believe a safe, warm, and accepting environment is essential to the therapeutic process and in guiding clients through their healing and grief; and the various thoughts and emotions that go with them.
Recognizing how minority status and oppression can add to mental health, traumatic experiences, and seeking support, I strive to create an inclusive space for all clients with different cultural backgrounds and identities.
I use an integrative approach and tailor treatment to the client's needs and goals to foster hope, empowerment, and resilience.
I often incorporate psychodynamic, person-centered, feminist, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and trauma focused interventions to help client's process their painful experiences, learn healthy coping and emotional regulation skills, build self-esteem, and cultivate healthy relationship dynamics with others.
My areas of focus include post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, attachment disruptions, codependency, healing after sexual abuse, healing after antagonistic relationships, and interpersonal relationships.
I look forward to working together and being your guide as you navigate your healing and mental health journey.
Psychotherapy services are provided on a regular schedule, weekly or biweekly in most cases, unless therapeutic needs dictate a more or less frequent schedule. An appointment time slot is held for you when you schedule your sessions; no other client is scheduled during those times.
Standard meeting time for psychotherapy sessions range between 45 to 55 minutes.
Psychotherapy rates for a 45 to 55 minute session is $150.00.
A sliding scale is offered for certain cases for clients who are going through financial hardship. Please discuss this with me to see if you qualify.
A credit, debit, FSA, or HSA card will be kept on file for payment of your session fees.
Payment information will be needed on file before the first session. Personal checks will not be accepted. Your card will be run through Stripe through Sessions Health electronic health record and practice management platform after each session. Sessions Health is a HIPAA compliant platform designed for mental and behavioral health professionals.
You can update your payment information at any time through your personal client portal in Sessions Health.
Late cancelation fee policy:
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give notification 48 hours in advance; failure to do so will result in a late cancelation fee of $75 if cancelation is less than 48 hours before your scheduled session.
No show fee policy:
Appointments that are missed without notification are considered “no shows.” Client’s will be charged their full contracted session rate set by Raven Therapy LLC for "no shows."
Insurance:
Raven Therapy LLC is an out-of-network provider; therefore, I do not accept insurance plans at the moment. I am currently accepting clients with AllOne EAP, CuraLinc EAP, and Health Advocate EAP.
This allows you the privacy, flexibility, and the confidentiality you deserve on your mental health and healing journey without the limitations that insurance companies can put on providers and clients.
I can provide a superbill for out-of-network clients who wish to receive reimbursement directly from their insurance company. A superbill is a receipt detailing services and costs; it will include the procedure coding, diagnosis coding, and session dates that your insurance company will need in order to reimburse you.
People are often surprised to learn that they have out-of-network coverage and typically receive reimbursement for 50-85% of session fees. The questions that you will want to ask your insurance company are:
Does your plan include “out-of-network” coverage for mental health? And if so, what is your annual deductible for mental health benefits?
Does your plan reimburse for psychotherapy sessions with an “out-of-network” provider?
What percentage does your insurance plan cover for each psychotherapy session?
Is there a limit on the number of psychotherapy sessions your plan will cover per year? If so, what is the limit?
Please reach out with any questions, I am happy to work with you so therapy can be affordable.
