Rautsik apps

Welcome to my website ! You can find here some information about applications that rautsik has developed.

Let me introduce myself first. I am software developer from Estonia who is developing Android applications in my free time. It is my passion and hobby, also way to improve my IT skills. I am using nickname rautsik, my real name is actually Rauno. If you have any questions or issues regarding my apps, feel free to e-mail me at rautsik@gmail.com, new ideas are also welcome.

So far I have released 7 different apps in Google Play store (not counting similar apps, like premium version of something). Little overview what I have done:

Screen Share

Screen share app does what app name says. You can use it to share your device screen from one Android device to another. Works over local wifi network and over internet.

Simple Screen Recorder

App that allows user to record his or her device screen. User can later share, upload or send it to anyone. There are also many options available, from showing you face at the screen to having your logo on record screen.

30 Day Fit Challenge Abs

I am big fan of sport. So as an experiment I made one app that helps you keep fit. 30 day long fitness training that challenges your abs.

Simple TV Remote Control

It is app similar to IR Remote Control, but only for televisions. Users with supported devices (who have IR blaster device) can select television from popular manufacturers list and use their smartphone as remote control.

IR Remote Control

This was my first success in Google Play store. More than 200 users on fifth day and more than 4000 active users on top best days. IR Remote Control app allowed to control your TV, air control, radio and many other devices by using your smartphone. Only devices with infrared blaster were supported and also there are limited list of devices in app. But most popular models are all there. Unfortunately starting from S7 model, Samsung devices no more have IR blaster, what has brought down active users number.

Eesti luuletused

Second app was cooperation with my college mate, who owns poems site. I made Android app what used his site API. It is targeted to Estonian people only.

Lightweight GPS Speedometer

This was my first app in Google Play store. I got the idea when my first car speedometer got broken. I thought it would be good idea to build something simple but useful for beginning. Now I have unpublished it because there are many better similar apps available, but it was good experience developing it and discovering Android development world.
