Ratul Puri's Contributions to India’s Energy Sector
Under Ratul Puri’s guidance, Hindustan Power has led several key initiatives, including signing a 25-year PPA for a 435 MW solar project in Uttar Pradesh and securing a 100 MW ISTS-connected solar project with a 200 MWh BESS in collaboration with SJVN Limited.
The company has also expanded its energy storage efforts with a 120 MWh standalone BESS project, received an LOI from BSPGCL for battery storage development in Bihar, and signed an MoU with the Government of Assam to invest ₹620 crore in solar and energy storage projects.
