HQ of the former Dutch East Indian Company

It's hard to believe but this building used to be the HQ of the former Dutch East Indian Company. Started in 1602, it was the first company that started selling stocks to public. This particular area is widely regarded as the birthplace of Modern Capitalism. At its peak the Dutch East Indian Company was worth more than $7.9 trillions.
