The Human × Technology (HXT) Research Group focuses on advancing the science and engineering of collaboration between humans, artificial intelligence, Digital Technology, and robotic systems. Our research spans human-AI-robot teaming, human-robot interaction, digital technologies and digital twins, human factors, and human-centered design. We aim to understand how humans think, behave, and make decisions when interacting with intelligent systems, and how technology can be designed to support performance, safety, and well-being.
At HXT, we integrate modeling and simulation of human behavior with cutting-edge technologies to develop systems that work seamlessly alongside human operators. By combining expertise in AI, robotics, human factors, and digital engineering, our mission is to create innovative solutions that enable safe, efficient, and human-centered collaboration—shaping a future where humans and intelligent systems thrive together.
