Scouting America makes Scouting available to our nation’s youth by chartering community organizations to organize and operate Cub Scout packs and Scout troops. Often this organization will charter and manage, or assist, other groups as well.

The Rathdrum Chartered Organization (RCO) is made up of a Leader, Assistant Leader, Secretary, Treasurer. A Chartered Organization Representative is also appointed for each group using the facilities and/or services. RCO has obtained a building in a trust, which is used for meetings and events. They are tasked with the maintenance and management of the facility. This includes securing donated contractor services, monetary donations, and other volunteer services.

This group also manages finances, and maintains necessary documents required for their charter as well as approves all leadership for Scouting America in Rathdrum, Idaho.
