My Eternal Passions:
Book Reading & Collection: A 'Bibliophile' with more than 1100+ books (Bengali, English, Hindi, Assamese, Odia) in my personal library.
Indian & Other Countries Mythology: Always have a strong fascination with Indian, Chinese, Norse, Greek, and Egyptian mythology. I am especially drawn to the epics Ramayana & Mahabharata.
Coin & Souvenir Collection: Collected a wide range of old & new coins and currency notes of India and abroad. Other than this, I have collected many souvenirs, stamps, and postcards from various places.
Playing Cricket, Football, Badminton & Carrom: My first priority is carrom. However, regularly played inter-departmental and inter-bhavana tournaments of cricket, football, and badminton during my Ph.D life at Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan.
Nature Explorer: Always have a deep love for nature and enjoy exploring its serenity. Among the many places I have visited, I find peace along the banks of the river Ganga in Rishikesh.
Part-time Poem & Essay Writing: More than 35 poems & some essays written in my leisure time. Some of them are published in various Bengali Magazines like 'Tarunyer Chowa', 'Shadwal', 'Ankur', 'Nobokolebor', 'Fulki', etc.
Editorial Work: Served as a primary editor of the magazine 'Fire Dekha', published for the 10th Reunion (ReMathion, 2K25) of the Visva-Bharati Mathematics department.
