hiya!

ive been recovering from this weekend, ive been extremely low energy recently, not sure why, probably bc of moving soon. SO fucking excited about whats falling into place though. i will admit here and now im using chatgpt to help me learn html code and i will stand by that decision. i will use the tools i have to better myself, i do not give a fuck. that and the voice feature make it very accessible. i see that as using it for what its for - avoiding the boring tedious intricacies of something like understanding how to impliment something with html code. but honestly its kind of a cool experience bc even with it doing a lot of the work for me for the website, im still picking up a lot just having to work with it and will definitely be able to not use it at a certain point. but im honestly thankful to live in an age with resources like we have right now, even tho i fear death every day in this chungus country. hope u understand me using my droid for good -- fr might see if theres a local model i can install to help me with rlly mundane stuff and handling my own stuff i feed it. we'll see. idk. i just really dont want to waste my time reinventing the wheel if theres an easy way to make my stuff easily accessible available to me. idk if its weird to write a book on that but i take ai very seriously and want to make sure im being transparent about it. being able to have the voice feature is genuinely very helpful in terms of accessibility. i would never be able to make it through youtube tutorials or forums about this and it makes it much more of a direct learning process. idk if ill be able to turn down its usage for learning, not atm at least. - this is so messy and im not fixing it

ANYWAY

stuff i actually did :

• brought Durodemon's Special Order to Indie City Games All Stars 2026 Showcase a couple days ago! :) a few rlly hype moments of ppl going for rlly high stacks and it falling. i had a great time meeting new peeps seeing homies and meeting up with a few ppl i hadnt seen in a minute.

also i love making the fam real. it was really cool to see durodemon represented physically. idk. it lowkey rlly mkaes me want to build more of them somehow. this is a dangerous rabbit hole

• made this :)  -  unironically super happy with this even tho ai helped me with the html again. im gonna be honest. idc. and idgaf if u do. i dont know how to code and someday i will.  doing things with training wheels at first can help  sometimes. either way - lots more stuff like this in the future bc a lot of this is just exploring whats rlly possible with this stuff

Stuff thats just *Vibes* :

• working on the new SICK modular website so ill be able to edit stuff rlly qucikly and easily, its very nerdy but its gonna allow me to do a lot of cool shit a lot faster, ill make it prettier later but i gotta make sure im doin it right so i dont have a ton of work to fix later - its going great tho :)  ive  been obsessed with putting it together the past couple days

• working on the main gang character pages so those should be up soon ratdoodle.com/ (A1-A9)

• im relistening to a lot of my guitar tracks so idk if im going in a more guitary direction or not. either way i can tell i have explored at this point and wanna come back to something more structured with my lyric writing so im actually producing again. my instrumentation has started to outpace my lyric writing so i think im gonna spend a bunch of time with my notes app soon

• new freaking website using github !!!! :D  im so excited about this shit im gonna bite the bullet and learn html to build my own stuff from scratch. its very intimidating but i am feeling quite inspired thinking about the possibilities! very epic! ratdoodle.com isnt much now, but this is a seed that will grow into a beautiful tree.

• blindly working on what i can to prepare for showcase tonight and post about it :)  

in my personal life irl im getting rid of a lot of clothes -- moving means everything new!

stuff goin on:

• im workin on this chungus site lol - still uploading a lotta characters and stuff :) - lowkey trying to decide if learning html is worth it to run this site completely on my own server - probably will do this knowing me, the freedom is too tempting

  • • added this journal page which im actually pretty excited about, as well as some other boring pages figuring out how to organize all this stuff ive done

• we ( me and Glitchmaster7 as GlitchRatDev ) placed third in community rankings ( YAY :) THANK U EVERYONE <3 ) for all stars 2026 game jam by indie city games and i will be bringing our game Durodemon's Special Order (we also used some bird sounds and sizzle sounds from Grapebird :) <3 ) to the indie city games all stars 2026 showcase on july 19th info in link (currently trying to find a working laptop and someone to help drive me to participate in this showcase lmfao)

• made 3 demo tracks for NEW rdw EP that will release idk when - aiming for 9-13 tracks on this one its cool and weird so far

• theres like 3 ish tracks im working on that im writing lyrics for which i dare say has felt kind of intimidating which is a good sign bc that means the beats are good / mostly done so im excited about those - some of them are pretty out there i think im definitely in a place where im exploring a lot of ideas right now to see what sticks. trying not to fall into the trap of keeping that process to myself and actually share what im working on

• already finished new track dropping soon + music video ideas brewing for said track

• in my irl life i am moving so everything is chaos to me atm - very happy about having this as a creative outlet tho ! :)

• trying to decide how frequently to update this so the next few days will be an experiment
