Short Bio

I am a development and environmental economist with over 10 years of experience in impact evaluation, project management, and data science, as well as more than five years of university-level teaching in environmental and development economics. My research agenda focuses on designing projects that leverage local and international resources to strengthen resilience to shocks in low- and middle-income contexts. I am particularly interested in identifying the drivers of endogenous behavioral change, climate change adaptation, and scaling up the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices.

My previous research has taken me to Syria, South Africa, and Tanzania, where I examined rural household economic decision-making, coping strategies in contexts affected by shocks such as civil conflict, and the role of behavioral biases in smallholders’ investment decisions.
