Short Bio
I am a development and environmental economist with over 10 years of experience in research, project management, and impact evaluation, as well as more than five years of university-level teaching. My research focuses on designing projects that leverage local and international resources to strengthen resilience to shocks in low- and middle-income contexts.
My previous field work has taken me to Syria, South Africa, and Tanzania, where I examined rural household economic decision-making, coping strategies in contexts affected by shocks such as civil conflict, and the role of behavioral biases in smallholders’ investment decisions.
