TERMS AND CONDITIONS — PLANNED
Effective date: August 27, 2025

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Planned mobile application and related services (the “Service”), provided by Khandker Tafiqul Islam (“we,” “us,” or “our”), registered in Bangladesh. By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts
   You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian. The Service may begin with Firebase anonymous sign-in. You may later link an email via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for all activity under your account or device. The Service is for personal use only and may not be resold or commercially exploited without our written permission.

2. Subscriptions, Trials, Billing, and Cancellation (Apple In-App Purchase)
   Paid features are offered via Apple In-App Purchase (“IAP”). Available products may include Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, and a One-Time (non-recurring) purchase. Prices are shown in-app via Apple and may vary by region and currency; taxes and fees may be added by Apple. We may offer free trials from time to time. If offered, a free trial will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged within 24 hours prior to period end. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store > Account > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. All billing and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms; we do not issue direct refunds. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing period.

3. User Content and Data Handling
   You may add personal planning data (for example, tasks, schedules, notes) to the Service (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. We use third-party providers including Firebase (hosting, analytics, authentication, and where applicable Cloud Firestore/Realtime Database for storing planning data), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Microsoft Clarity (experience analytics/session insights). Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information and your choices; by using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy. The Service does not provide public sharing or community features.

4. AI Features and Disclaimers
   The Service may use Groq AI to assist with task category detection and icon selection and may offer other AI-assisted features. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided “as is” for general assistance only; they are not medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Do not input content you lack rights to or sensitive data you are not comfortable processing via third-party providers.

5. Acceptable Use
   You agree not to violate laws or third-party rights; not to upload malware or interfere with the Service; not to attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass security; and not to use the Service to harass, spam, or harm others. We may investigate and suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Third-Party Services
   The Service integrates third-party services, including Firebase, RevenueCat, Microsoft Clarity, and Groq AI. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property
   Except for your User Content, the Service and its contents (including software, text, graphics, designs, and trademarks) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms and Apple’s rules, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app.

8. Feedback
   If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate them without obligation to you.

9. Termination and Suspension
   You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your license ends. Upon a verified account deletion request, we delete associated personal data within 30 days, subject to lawful retention requirements. See the Privacy Policy for details.

10. Disclaimers
    The Service (including any AI features) is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data will not be lost.

11. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us via Apple in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD 50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, those limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Khandker Tafiqul Islam from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms
    We may modify the Service and/or these Terms. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, in-app notice or email if available). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.

14. Governing Law and Venue
    These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.

15. Apple-Specific Terms (iOS)
    You acknowledge these Terms are between you and Khandker Tafiqul Islam, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. To the extent required, your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LAEULA). In case of non-conformity of the app to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple; Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligations. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it.

16. Miscellaneous
    Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign without restriction. No waiver: A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Export and sanctions: You represent you are not located in an embargoed or sanctioned country and are not on a prohibited party list.
