Privacy Policy for Raseed247

Raseed247 ("we", "the app") is a payment notification app for merchants in
Oman. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and
what it does NOT do.
1. What the app reads on your phone
- Incoming SMS messages and notifications from banks and payment apps,
only to detect that a payment was received.
- This reading happens entirely on your phone. The full text of your
SMS or notifications is NEVER uploaded automatically to any server.
2. What we store on your phone (locally)
- A list of detected payment events (amount, time, source app).
- Your app settings (voice, language, sound preferences).
- This data stays on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
3. What leaves your phone (only these, nothing else)
(a) One-time registration:
When you tap "Register" during onboarding, we send ONCE to our
server:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your shop name
- Your email (optional)
- The app version
We use this only to contact you about your trial and support.
We do not share it with third parties.
(b) You choose to report a missed message:
If the app failed to detect a payment, you may tap
"Send to Raseed247 support" on that message. Before sending, the
app shows you the exact text that will be sent. All digits in the
message are automatically replaced with "#" so that amounts,
account numbers, transaction references, dates, times and phone
numbers are hidden. You approve each message individually. Nothing
is sent without your explicit tap.
4. What we NEVER do
- We never upload your SMS or notification text automatically.
- We never announce or store OTPs, verification codes, or security
alerts.
- We never share your data with advertisers or third parties.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not use analytics SDKs.
5. Permissions the app asks for
- Notification access: to detect incoming payment notifications.
- SMS read (optional): to detect payment SMS from banks.
- Internet: only for the two cases in section 3.
6. Data storage and security
Registration data and reported messages are stored on Supabase servers
(an EU-hosted database service). Access is restricted to the Raseed247
team.
7. Deleting your data
To delete your registration or reported messages from our server,
email us at the address below. We will delete within 7 days.
8. Children
Raseed247 is for adult merchants. It is not intended for children
under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and
notify users in the app.
