This Island, A Treasure

I am a witness of the naked truth,

Truth that caresses my face,

The beauty I can't resist,

It is a beautiful flower that blooms,

Blooms in the middle of the ocean,

And with its nectar one finds a true treasure,

The treasure I have tasted,

The love of my mother shelter,

The love of my town, Rapu-Rapu.

Every memory, Every moment is a treasure,

The voice of our tradition,

The bearer of our culture,

My haven, my paradise,

The heart of my soul,

From the past to us the present,

The present we face,

The past we hail.

The kingdom of my God,

The Island of this sacred life,

The true gem of all of my treasures,

My haven, my life, my Rapu-Rapu.

In helping one another we thrive,

For our God we are unified,

For the Island that we love,

Whose name is spoken with Respect,

Her meal nourishes,

Her shelter protects,

Her love is an embrace,

No one shall love me,

The way I am loved

By my mother town,My Rapu-Rapu.

To every lovely occasion,

A gathering of Beautiful souls,

Love sprouts and binds us all!.
