At Rannoch View, we are committed to providing high quality care for our expectant mothers. Before joining our breeding program, all our female dogs undergo thorough vet checks, and we prioritize their retirement at an appropriate age to ensure their well-being beyond their breeding years. We firmly believe in granting our females ample breaks between litters, placing their health and happiness at the forefront of our breeding considerations.

Throughout their pregnancies, we closely monitor the health of our pregnant females, overseeing their weight management and ensuring they receive a well-balanced diet tailored to their individual needs. This nutritional attention focuses on both maintaining mother's well-being throughout her pregnancy and also supplying the vital nutrients essential for nurturing healthy pups pre- and post-birth. Our commitment to personalized care means that every pregnant dog receives tailored dietary adjustments to support their unique requirements, ensuring she and her pups remain at optimal health throughout her pregnancy.

The Rannoch View facilities are designed to best support our dogs and breeding program, featuring two distinct areas housing a total of six dog runs. Four dog runs are placed within a fenced enclosure, providing ample space for the dogs to socialize and exercise freely while ensuring a secure environment. These runs are equipped with essential amenities such as built-in automatic waterers, strategically placed misters for hot weather, and sheltered areas, all contributing to the dogs' comfort and well-being.

A separate area dedicated to the whelping dogs and young pups contains the remaining two dog runs. These runs include specially crafted, sheltered and comfortable spaces that prioritize the support required during the early stages of puppy development, while also being fitted with the same misters and built-in automatic waterers to support general wellbeing. This segregation allows for tailored care, ensuring that each area meets the specific needs of the dogs, emphasizing their overall health, welfare, and the specialized requirements of the breeding process.

At Rannoch View, our puppy enrichment program focuses on giving our young pups a solid start in life. For each litter of puppies we implement a variety of activities that aim to stimulate their young minds and introduce them to a wide range of experiences. Through gentle exposure to different sights, sounds, and textures, our puppies learn and grow in a safe and controlled environment.

Socialization is a key part of our puppy program. From early on, our pups interact with various people, other dogs, and a variety of animals, all under close supervision. This exposure helps them develop positive social behaviors and adaptability, ensuring they grow up to be confident and well-rounded companions.
