The workshop presentations will take place in Zoom on 2nd and 3rd September. We will release the final program on Tuesday, August 31.
The RANLP conference will take place as online event via Zoom. All participants will receive links for joining each of the parallel sessions by email.
The default presentation mode of RANLP’2021 is a live presentation; only in exceptional circumstances, we shall consider recorded presentations subject to specific conditions (authors need to contact the organisers in advance for this option).
Please make sure you are on time for your presentation. We suggest connecting 10 minutes before the allotted time in case there are any technical issues.
Remember to open your presentation and have it ready on your computer to be shared with the audience.
We kindly ask that you turn your camera on in addition to showing the slides so that the atmosphere would be similar to a live presentation.
Please stick to the allotted time to ensure the conference runs smoothly.
Long Papers: 15 minutes presentation + 10 minutes Q&A/Discussion.
Normal papers: 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A/Discussion.
Kindly keep an eye for possible chat messages from the Zoom hosts: they will probably welcome you when you join anyway.
Make sure you access the conference using your full name - the one you used to register. You will wait in the conference’s waiting room until one of our organising committee members grants you permission to access. Using your real/full name will facilitate identity verification.
Please follow netiquette (make sure your mic is off while the speaker is presenting)
You may ask your questions to the authors via three means: you may type your question in the chat or raise your hand. Please, if you would like to speak, make sure you raise your hand first and patiently wait to be given the floor.
