The short version: Rankimo does not collect, store, or share any
personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no
advertising, and no trackers. The game works entirely offline on
your device.
Information we collect
None. Rankimo does not ask for your name, email address, phone
number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal
information. We have no servers that receive data about you, and no
third-party analytics or advertising software is included in the app.
Information stored on your device
The game saves a small amount of data locally on your phone so it can
remember your progress between sessions:
• Your settings (theme, language, sound, vibration, hints, reminder time)
• Your experience points, level, and win/loss record
• Which trophies you have unlocked
• Which daily challenges you have completed, and your streak
This information never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us,
and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently.
Permissions
• Vibration — used for the small taps you feel when moving or
capturing a piece. Can be turned off in Settings.
• Notifications — used only if you switch on the optional daily
reminder. The reminder is created and shown by your own phone; no
message is ever sent from a server. Can be turned off in Settings.
• Network access — used only to check for app updates. No personal
data is transmitted.
Children
Rankimo is suitable for all ages and is safe for children. Because
the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects
none from children either.
Third parties
The app is built with Expo and React Native, and uses Expo's update
service to deliver improvements. Expo may record standard technical
information such as app version and device type when an update is
checked. See Expo's privacy policy at https://expo.dev/privacy. We
receive no personal data from this process.
If you download Rankimo from Google Play, Google's own terms and
privacy policy apply to that download.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on
this page with a new date at the top.
