I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biological and Environmental Engineering, specializing in Automation and Robotics for tree fruit industry. My research is centered on developing intelligent robots designed for precise pollination and fruitlet thinning in commercial orchards. I am working on an integrated system that includes a Machine Vision System, a Robotic Manipulation System, and an End Effector System, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of robotic fruit thinning and pollination in commercial apple orchards. My areas of expertise include Agricultural Automation, Research Design, Field Implementation, Development of Machine Vision Systems, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Statistics, Robot Control Systems, End Effector Design, and 2D & 3D Image Processing.
