Ranjan Jana is an assistant professor at the Department of Information Technology, RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He has more than twenty years of teaching experience. He did his B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata in 2005 and M.Tech in Computer Technology from Jadavpur University, India in 2009. He has completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Kalyani, India. He has more than twenty international publications. He was a member of IEEE. His research interests are biomedical signal processing, pattern recognition, deep learning, and optimization techniques.
