Ranjan Jana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology, RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He has more than seventeen years of teaching experience. He did his B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata in 2005 and M.Tech in Computer Technology from Jadavpur University, India in 2009. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani, India. He has seventeen international publications. He is a member of IEEE. His research interests are biomedical signal processing, pattern recognition, deep learning, and optimization techniques.
