Shweta Sagar and Falguni Desai - Rangmanch Founders
It all began with a WhatsApp group initiated in Jan' 2025 — a handful of people in Bordeaux who shared a common dream: to come together, connect, and celebrate our love for cultural expression.
Our first opportunity came when we secured a spot at another association's event a 3-minute Bollywood dance slot. From that moment on, our Sundays transformed — into lively rehearsals, laughter over chai and snacks, and the joy of creating something together.

What started as preparation for one performance soon became a cherished weekly ritual we dint want to end. That’s when the idea of forming an association took root — a space where creativity, culture, and community could flourish.
In May, that first performance lit a spark. Soon after, we decided to take it a step further — a flash mob performance in July! Without an official association, it was difficult to get permission from the city to perform in an open public space. But our passion wouldn’t let that stop us.

Armed with a tiny speaker and huge enthusiasm, we danced anyway — spreading joy in the park without disturbing anyone. As people stopped, watched, and joined in the fun, we realized something powerful: the community loved these cultural moments as much as we did. That day, our decision was made — we were 100% determined to register and make Rangmanch an official association.
Our supporters and cheer leaders - What a beautiful community!
And so, Rangmanch was born — not just as an association, but as a stage for everyone who believes in the joy of art, dance, and togetherness.
