My internet bandwidth isn't fast enough to play 360 youtube videos without constant buffering. Is there a way I can save these videos at the highest resolution possible and play them on my cardboard? I tried directly downloading the videos but I as I suspected it wasn't that straight-forward as the videos are "split" and look very odd in general. Here is a screenshot I took of what the Alien covenant in utero video looks like when you just download it with any normal video downloader and play it regularly. Playing it on cardboard is "broken" by comparison to playing it from the youtube app in cardboard mode as the image you get is split into pieces.

If you are just starting to make stop motion videos with your iPad, you've probably already discovered how much better they are when you can keep the tablet still when taking pictures. That's exactly the observation my Kindergarten students made while creating their movies.

But rather than run out and buy an iPad rig that would keep it stable during our shoot, we decided to try designing and building our own out of the supplies that we had with us -- cardboard!! The result is a stand that is easy to make, easy to store when not in use, and incredibly good at keeping the iPad still while you move your characters around!

Note: This invention was completely created by my Kindergarten students at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian School. It is important to me that I give credit where credit is due, and all of the credit for this device belongs with my students. While I may have done the cutting of the cardboard, the idea, design, modifications, and operation of the stand is completely theirs. You can read and see more about the learning experience on my website if you are interested. Any comments and/or suggestions left on this Instructable will certainly be shared with these little innovators!

As my Kindergarteners describe it: "The triangle comes up to hold the iPad still, and the cardboard on the front makes it not slip and fall down when you are taking pictures. The arms on the side help you point it in different directions so you can get a good picture."

When we were making the stand, we just happened to have pieces of cardboard that seemed to be the right size for our prototypes. As a result, we don't have exact dimensions or measurements. Doing a little google-research on iPad dimensions and looking at the photos however, I would guess that the sizes are as follows:

I was thinking of custom-cutting a chunk of ~1/8th piece of cardboard for the video card backplate, leaving room for under the video card core, and leaving it on top of the video card. As reference, I know that placing a Motherboard on the box it came in is usually good as an anti-static test bench/workspace, but I wanted to make sure it was okay in this regard.

A new video has emerged showing the demonstration of a new "cardboard" drone reportedly being used by Ukrainian forces to hit targets inside Russia, as Kyiv intensifies its long-range strike campaign.

The Corvo drones are manufactured by the Australian SYPAQ firm and have been credited with the successful attack on a Russian airfield in Kursk last weekend. Their largely cardboard construction reportedly allows them to proceed undetected by Russian radar systems.

The Russian Fighterbomber Telegram channel was the first to link the SYPAQ drones to last weekend's attack on an airfield in Kursk in western Russia, some 65 miles from Ukraine's northwestern border. In the caption of his drone demonstration video, Butusov said the cardboard drones were used in the Kursk strike.

SYPAQ signed a $700,000 deal with the Australian government in March to produce its Corvo drone system for supply to Ukraine. The company describes the platform as a "cardboard plane," though past press materials say the aircraft is made "almost entirely from waxed foamboard."

What i like about this is the simplicity of this and i think kids would like to do this, with supervision, of course. watch our gardenfork.tv episode on making yogurt in a cardboard box and then tell us how you make yogurt below.

Pour into clean glass containers, screw on the cap, and place in your cardboard box yogurt maker. You can also use a large stock pot with the heating pad placed in the bottom of the stock pot. Make sure the heating pad is a waterproof one.

I had the same problem. The spools are only to big on the outer spool holders (it has the least clearance). Try switching to electrical tape to give the cardboard easy traction without compromising the AMS with dust residue.

They fought for us, now we fight for them. Right now, over 37,000 homeless veterans are living on the streets, some sleeping on nothing more than a piece of cardboard. We strive now to mover everyone of those veterans from Cardboard to Headboard.

The video starts with how first recyclable material is collected and soaked in water so that it can be pulped. Next, this pulp is filtered out and the clear paper mix is rolled into cardboard sheets. These sheets are transported to open fields so that they can dry. After the sheets are dried, they are collected and put through a pressing machine so that their surface becomes smooth. Lastly, the cardboard is cut into neat rectangular shapes and is ready for use.

Diane Tucci, who organized the event, was one of the many cheering on the intrepid racers. She, along with Tracey Orlando, executive director of the East End Seaport Museum & Marine Foundation worked tirelessly to reschedule the festival and the cardboard boat race after a storm derailed the first planned date. But Mother Nature wasn't able to stop the fun this past weekend.

Cardboards are used in our everyday lives. From packing things to keeping them in store - cardboard can come in handy anytime. While this thing might be lying around your house somewhere, have you ever thought about how is it made? A video that is going viral on social media shows the process through which trash is turned into cardboard. The clip has surprised many people.

The video opens to show trash being mixed in water and then being broken down to a softer mix. Then, it is transferred to a machine where the wet cardboard is cut out. Once the bundles of the wet cardboard are ready, they are put out in the sun for drying. (Also Read: Ever wondered how vanilla ice cream is made in a factory? Watch viral video)

The cardboard bread bag clips are made from 100% recycled cardboard and are compostable in municipal systems across Canada with curbside organics pickup or local drop-off, Bimbo Canada said. In addition, they have been tested over repeated use cycles at room, refrigerator and freezer temperatures to ensure the clips keep products fresh until the last bite, the company noted. The bread tags will biodegrade in 84 days.
