RangeWise is a golf decision-support app designed to help golfers turn distance into practical shot decisions from tee to cup.
RangeWise does not require you to create an account.
RangeWise may store information locally on your device so the app can remember your setup and preferences.
This may include:
App settings and preferences
Measurement units
Green speed calibration
Rhythm settings
Bag Map and club distances
Pitch Matrix information
Scorecard information
Social Handicap information
Notes and other golf-related information you choose to enter
This information is used to provide and personalise RangeWise features.
Some RangeWise features may request access to your location while you are using the app.
Location is used to obtain local weather and playing-condition information used by features such as Pitch and Full Swing.
Weather information is provided using Apple Weather through WeatherKit.
RangeWise does not use your location for advertising or tracking.
You can control or disable location access at any time through your device settings. Some weather-based features may be limited if location access is unavailable.
Purchases are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
RangeWise uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status and confirm whether access has been purchased or restored. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information required to provide this functionality.
RangeWise does not receive or store your payment card details.
If you use RangeWise with Apple Watch, information required to support RangeWise features may be shared between the iPhone app and the companion Watch app.
RangeWise does not display third-party advertising.
RangeWise does not use your information for advertising tracking and does not sell personal information.
RangeWise uses third-party services where required to provide specific app functionality, including:
Apple — for in-app purchases, location services and WeatherKit weather information
RevenueCat — for purchase status and entitlement management
These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.
You can:
Decline or disable location access through iOS Settings
Remove locally stored RangeWise information by deleting or resetting information within the app where available
Delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device
Restore a previous purchase using the Restore Purchase option
This Privacy Policy may be updated if RangeWise features or data practices change.
Any updated version will be published with a revised “Last updated” date.
