Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using RangeNote Air (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Description of the Service
RangeNote Air is a real-time pitch measurement and tuning utility app designed to help users measure, check, and practice pitch using their device microphone. The App may include features such as:
Real-time pitch detection
Musical note and frequency display
Pitch accuracy or tuning deviation feedback
Voice or instrument pitch practice
Visual pitch indicators, graphs, or meters
Calibration or reference pitch settings, if available
Saved measurement results, recent records, or local practice history, if available
Sound and/or vibration feedback, if supported and enabled
Optional notification features for practice reminders, if available
Optional copy, export, or share features for pitch results, if available
The App is provided “as is” for personal and non-commercial use.
Permissions and Device Features
RangeNote Air is designed to work without requiring account sign-in. Depending on your device and enabled features, the App may request access to certain device permissions or system features, such as:
Microphone access, for real-time pitch detection and measurement
Internet access, for ads, billing, analytics, crash reporting, or optional remote content
Notification access, for practice reminders, if supported and enabled
Vibration access, for haptic feedback, if supported and enabled
Audio-related device features, for sound feedback or audio monitoring, if enabled
Photos / Media / Storage access, only if the App provides save, export, or share features that require file access
Microphone access is required for the core pitch measurement feature. If you deny microphone permission, real-time pitch detection may not function properly or may be unavailable. If you deny other permissions, some optional features may not function properly or may be unavailable.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the App
Use the App to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s data or systems
Misuse the App, advertisements, billing features, or reward-based features
Use the App in a way that infringes the rights of others
You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any content, results, screenshots, measurement data, or practice records you choose to save, export, copy, or share from the App.
Accuracy and Use Disclaimer
RangeNote Air is provided as a general pitch measurement, tuning, and music practice tool for convenience only. While we aim to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that all pitch readings, frequency values, note names, tuning indicators, saved records, or app behavior will always be accurate or error-free in all situations.
Pitch detection accuracy may be affected by factors such as device microphone quality, background noise, input volume, distance from the sound source, instrument tone, voice characteristics, device hardware, operating system behavior, calibration settings, and environmental conditions.
You are responsible for verifying any important pitch, tuning, or audio measurement results before relying on them. The App is not intended for legal, medical, diagnostic, safety-critical, emergency, professional certification, or professional audio engineering decision-making use. Flowbit Labs is not responsible for decisions or outcomes based on information shown or stored in the App.
Advertisements and Purchases
The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or similar third-party networks. We may also offer:
In-app purchases to remove ads or unlock premium features, if applicable
Rewarded ads that may temporarily unlock benefits or extra features, if applicable
All purchases are handled through the official Google Play Store billing system, and refunds are processed according to Google’s policies. We do not provide direct refunds outside of what is supported by Google Play.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will always function without interruption, error, defect, inaccurate measurement, or compatibility issue, or that any issues will be corrected immediately. Use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flowbit Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
Your use or inability to use the App
Any inaccurate pitch detection, frequency reading, note display, tuning feedback, graph, saved record, or measurement result
Any loss of local pitch history, saved results, settings, calibration values, cached data, preferences, or practice records due to device issues, OS updates, storage limitations, permission changes, or app crashes
Any microphone, audio, notification, export, sharing, billing, or advertisement-related issues
Any actions or failures of third-party services such as advertising networks, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, sharing components, notification services, or billing services
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may also stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
Updates and Changes
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will take effect once it is posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.
We may also update the App itself, for example through new features, bug fixes, UI changes, pitch detection adjustments, tuning improvements, performance improvements, compatibility updates, or advertisement-related updates.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
