CIE REPORT

The department follows continuous evaluation process as prescribed by the affiliating University. In the beginning of each session, the respective departments of the college conduct the departmental meeting. The college has its generic academic calendar; besides, each department also prepares a separate academic calendar. Since the college is affiliated to Gauhati University, the university academic calendar is followed in general for all academic purposes. The departmental academic calendar is in line with the university academic calendar. The departmental calendar contains information on the conduct of sessional and unit test examinations, and departmental seminars/workshops, extension activities, required number of home assignment to be submitted and the project work to be undertaken. The students are advised to go through the CO-PO of the courses uploaded in the departmental website. The answer scripts of the home assignments, class test, unit test etc. are returned to the students while the answer scripts of the internal assessment are shown to the students by highlighting possible areas of improvements.
