My name is Randy Katayama I Currently work as a Prep Cook and Steward for Mud Hen Water and as a part-time missionary with my home church Restoration Community Chruch (RCC) to help reach International Students and I'm currently Volunteering at International Ministries
I'm a Kaimuki Resident and have a deep respect for my community and for the local culture as well as other cultures outside Hawaii, I'm a homeschool graduate and recently graduated with my Associate degree in Culinary Arts at Kapiolani Community College.
My life has taken a lot of twists and turns mostly for good and some not so much some of my longest struggles in life is mental health mainly loneliness, self-doubt, and depression, and has at some point led me to almost walk away from Christ, but because of his love for us and how he wants us to be in a relationship with God I rebuilt my relationship with him/made Christ my priority in life, and ever since then my life has turned for the better.
It wasn't long until I found myself involved with International Ministries (IM) when I first Joined International Ministries I wasn't sure how I would do or if I could share what Christ has done in my life with Internationals but as time went it has gotten easier and better and more importantly, it helped build long-lasting relationships that have lasted from 2015 to now.
So now what's next for me? While Mission work is only part-time in my life, this is the reason I made this Website/Blog so people can know about my mission work and how you can help partner with me in prayer, and monthly support, and help me share with others about my continued story about what Christ has me doing for his kingdom.
