Terms of Service

Welcome to Sudoku: Random Sudoku by Carl's Game Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of our application (the "App"). You agree to be bound by these Terms by accessing or using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms. By using our App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service. Sudoku: Random Sudoku (the "App") is an Android mobile application that lets users play and learn Sudoku. This App also allows users to create custom Sudoku puzzles or import 81-digit strings to build a puzzle instantly. Besides, users can view detailed step-by-step guides to complete a puzzle they entered. The App is free of charge, and users can use it without creating user accounts.

3. Changes to Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the App after updates to these Terms will signify your acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

4. Age Eligibility. Our App is designed for users of various age groups, including minors. To ensure compliance with applicable laws and provide appropriate user experiences, we require all users to declare their age before accessing the App. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide. Lying about your age is strongly discouraged and may compromise your privacy and security. We assume no liability for any consequences arising from the misrepresentation of your age. Should we discover that a user has provided incorrect age information, we reserve the right to terminate that user's access to the App.

5. User-Generated Content. Our App allows users to design and create Sudoku puzzles. While content created by users, such as custom-made Sudoku puzzles, cannot be shared or posted within the App, it is still considered user-generated content (UGC) and subject to the following terms:

• Ownership. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your UGC. However, by creating UGC within our App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferrable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, and display the UGC in connection with the App's operations.

• Content Guidelines. You agree not to create any UGC that is unlawful, offensive, or otherwise violates these Terms. We reserve the right to remove or modify any UGC that violates these Terms.

• Responsibility. You are solely responsible for the content you create. We do not endorse any UGC and expressly disclaim any liability concerning any content you create.

6. Intellectual Property. All content and materials available on the App, including text, graphics, code, and images, are the intellectual property of Carl's Game Studio and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Any inappropriate use, such as reproduction, distribution, display, or transmission of our material, is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Carl's Game Studio.

7. Users' Conduct. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose;

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App;

• Modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any portion of the App;

• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App.

8. Termination. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to the breach of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties. The App is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do not warrant the App being uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App;

• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;

• Any bugs, viruses, Trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our App by any third party;

• The defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

11. Users' Privacy. You may refer to our privacy policy to learn how we collect, use, and share your data when you use our App.

12. Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed and construed by the laws of Malaysia without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
