Our owner, Geovany, is deeply passionate about keeping everything as natural as possible. The dairy and beef cows roam freely and receive no hormones or steroids, we practice sustainable farming, and nothing artificial touches our soil or grass. We follow the traditional, old ways of farming because we believe it’s the healthiest way—for the animals, the land, and for you.
More than just farming, our goal is to share this way of life with you. We invite you to visit, learn, and see why staying true to nature is not just a method—it’s a story worth experiencing.
At Rancho Diamante, our goal is to offer more than just sitting on a horse; we want every guest to experience the best of Nosara from the saddle.
Our routes have been carefully designed to create the most special experience. For example, our beach ride combines the beauty of the beach with the authentic charm of our farmland and jungle trails with ocean views, creating a ride that offers a little bit of everything. We also choose quieter sections of the beach whenever possible, allowing you to enjoy the scenery without the crowds.
One of the things we’re most proud of is our horses. They aren’t just trail horses; they’re also working ranch horses that spend lots of time helping with cattle and farm work. This keeps them fit, responsive, and confident in a variety of environments. Because they’re exposed to so much, they’re calm, sure-footed, and rarely startled, making them wonderful partners for riders of all experience levels.
Whether it’s your very first ride or you’ve been riding your whole life, we carefully match you with a horse that suits your ability. Our horses are suitable for everyone from young children to senior riders, and when conditions and ability make it safe to do so, we offer opportunities to enjoy a faster pace - including a canter along the beach!

Only a short twenty-minute drive from town brings you to our beautiful main working farm, just before Ostional Beach. This is where you’ll experience a fully authentic farm life, surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside. From tending to our naturally raised animals to exploring open fields and traditional farmland, you’ll see firsthand the old ways of farming that we’re so passionate about preserving. Every visit is a chance to connect with nature, learn about sustainable farming, and experience the rhythms of life on a real, working farm.
Our South Guiones location offers wide open green pastures meeting stunning beach and mountaintop views. Here, you can enjoy guided horseback tours through scenic trails and quiet beaches or take part in horsemanship classes designed for kids to learn, connect, and grow with these incredible animals. Its close proximity to town makes it easily accessible, perfect for families, nature lovers, and adventure seekers alike—anyone looking to experience a taste of farm life within 15 minutes from town.
