My research interests include Risk and Resilience Analysis of Interdependent Critical Infrastructures; Structural Condition Assessment, Monitoring and Intelligent Control; Multi-Hazard Performance-Based Engineering; Digital Twins for Infrastructures Resilience; Data-driven Modeling, Multi-criteria-based Risk-informed Decision Making in A Changing Climate. 

My research emphasizes on resilience-informed, functionality-oriented, and human-centered decision-making for disaster risk reduction of the built environment in the face of multiple hazards incorporating climate extremes considering physical and socio-economic impacts.
