We normally hold our probationary member training sessions on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. Each session starts promptly at 10am and lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. Sessions may be cancelled due to bad weather or the unavailability of Club members to carry out the training.
At their first attendance, probationary members should bring along some form of I.D. and to be prepared to sign some formal paperwork and to pay any fees due.
Clothing and footwear should be comfortable and suitable for the weather conditions prevailing on the day. The use of ear defenders/plus is recommended, especially if attending the smallbore shooting training sessions.
If arriving by vehicle, probationary members are requested, where possible, to park out on the road and then walk through the park to the Club.
Work parties are held throughout the year and are usually advertised of the Club's notice boards and via the Club's members-only WhatsApp group. Attendence is not compulsory, but regular attendance can count towards a discount on annual membership fees.
