The Mission of our lab is to train, coach, and mentor the future generation of chemists that will design and implement materials and processes for renewable energy production and pollution mitigation guided by the 12 principles of green chemistry and driven by creativity, innovation, and sustainable thinking in an inclusive and diverse environment.

The Vision of our lab is that our alumni will experience excellence in research due to its impact and scope. They will become role models for underrepresented STEM students in Arizona, thus contributing to Arizona's economic mobility and sustainability and beyond.
