Theory of Complex Quantum Matter
Ramires' Group at TU Wien
I am an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Solid State Physics at the TU Wien.
The research in my group focuses on understanding and revealing novel quantum phenomena emerging in complex quantum matter. We are strongly inspired by solid-state systems but have also delved into cold atomic systems and, most recently, out-of-equilibrium problems.
Our research is strongly based on the understanding and engineering of symmetries in quantum matter to unlock loopholes allowing for novel and unconventional responses, which can potentially be useful for quantum technologies.
I am excited to be part of the Simons Collaboration on New Frontiers in Superconductivity!
