At the Florida Youth Foundation, our goal is to change lives - the lives of students, the lives of their parents, the lives of the citizens in our community - by promoting delinquency prevention, intervention, and educational opportunities for youth. By empowering youth to create bright futures for themselves, we not only ensure positive outcomes for them, but in turn create stronger, safer communities.
The Florida Youth Foundation puts youth success at the forefront by providing scholarship opportunities for juvenile justice involved youth as well as by promoting the achievements of our youth. Through initiatives such as the Youth of the Month award, we champion the strides youth make in their personal development and incentivize them to keep the ball rolling.

Active youth do better in life. They are more likely to excel in school, succeed in work and have fewer health issues. Ice sports are a powerful way to keep kids active and teach valuable life lessons, yet the kids who benefit the most from ice sports are prohibited from participating due to multiple barriers these sports present.
Our women-led initiative removes the barriers and allows all youth in the greater Chicago area the opportunity to experience the thrill of participating in ice sports in a fun, safe, positive and inclusive environment regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender and socio-economic status.
As an organization, we bring young, bright, culturally competent role models to inspire youngsters to follow the right path and educate the youth on opportunities that may be available to them. Using ice sports as a medium, trained mentors teach skills and life lessons, such as personal responsibility and social-emotional competence.
Chicago Youth Foundation is a proud women-led initiative that brings the joy of ice sports to Metro Chicago youth who would not otherwise gain this experience, improving their social and academic well-being and empowering them to find success through sportsmanship and teamwork.
The Columbus Youth Foundation makes a difference in the lives of youth from economically disadvantaged neighborhoods of Columbus by providing healthy, positive opportunities to learn life lessons through recreation and sports.

Bullying is a significant problem that is experienced worldwide. Bullying has become a crisis that affects millions of youth/teens and even young adults each year. An estimated 10%-30% of students involved directly and indirectly in bullying have left an oppressive negative outcome. Over the past three years we have seen how bullying behavior puts both student victims and the bullies themselves at risk for self-harm, violence, truancy, depression, self-harm, suicide and in a few cases life long social/emotional problems. In order to stop bullying at school, home and in their communities, Empower or Youth Foundation is committed to tackling several fronts, including teaching educators how to have a positive school culture, family engagement and comprehensive approach.
