Dr. Rakesh Chowdhury is currently working as an assistant professor at ABV-IIITM Gwalior. He was born in West Bengal, India, in 1991. He has received B. Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from WBUT University, West Bengal, India in 2013, whereas M. Tech. and Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, in 2015 and 2021 respectively. During his Academics, He has been awarded Various awards such as Certificate of honor (during B. Tech), Research Publication Award (during Ph.D) etc. He has authored or co-authored over 30+ research articles in international journals/ conference proceedings. He has also co-authored one invited book with Artech house publishers. His current research interest includes dielectric resonator antennas, High gain antennas, metamaterials/meta-surfaces, EBG structures etc. He is potential reviewer of many journals, such as the IEEE TAP, IEEE AWPL, IEEE ACCESS, International Journal of RF Microwave Computer Aided Engineering, MOTL, Journal of Alloys and compounds, AEU etc.

Metamaterial/Meta-surfaces for Compact Antenna design
MIMO and Cognitive Radio Antenna and multifunctional Filter.
Frequency Reconfigurable Active Array Antenna with Beam Steering.
Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS), EBG and AMC structures.
