Notes for Contributors:

• Rajasthan Journal of Sociology invites original research papers preferably on Rajsthan Society and Culture in English or Hindi in soft copy only from the life members of RSA. The articles should be limited between 6000-8000 words and must be typed in MS Word document format with double space. The body text should be in Times New Roman font size 12 for English and Akshar Unicode / Nirmala UI (Devanagari) font size 12 for Hindi.

• Please also send your Name, RSA Membership Number, Postal address, Mobile No., E mail Id and a small biographical note on separate sheet/paper along with article.

• An abstract of the article followed by key words must be inserted in the opening part.

• ASA style is to be followed for writing the research papers. In text adopt (author date method) of citation (Sharma 2004) and use standardized ASA formats.

• Bibliographic details of cited work should be alphabetically listed under References in the following pattern: (i) Books: Name(s) of author(s) (Last name first and Last name last for multiple authors). year of publication. Title of the book (italicized). place of publication: name of the publisher. (ii) Paper in an edited book: Name(s) of author(s) (Last name first and Last name last for multiple authors). year of publication. “Title of the Paper.” (within double “inverted commas”) Pp. n_x-n_y (page range) in Title of the Book (italicized), edited by the name(s) of the editor(s) (Last name last & Last name last for multiple editors). Place of the publication: Name of the publisher. (iii) Article; Name(s) of author(s). year of publication. “Title of the Article” (within double “inverted commas”). Name of the journal (italics) Volume(number):p_x-p_y (pages).

• Acceptance of the paper will depend on Blindfold peer review and Editorial Board has right to reject or to get revised an article as per review recommendation.

• It is mandatory to mention the name and Life Membership Number of RSA, Mobile number, Email Id, a brief biographical note and to attach a prescribed non-plagiarism declaration (see https://sites.google.com/view/rajsa/journal/contributor-declaration-format ) along with the article.

• The journal is an annual publication. It is published in October every year. The articles for the next issue must reach to the editor in soft copy only by 30^th June positively.
