Rajeev K Shakya

Welcome to my Web home Page

My research interests are Communication Networking, Health Monitoring and Intelligent Fault Diagnosis Systems, Neural Networks, Machine Learning Algorithms, Brain Computer/Machine Interface, Intelligent Sensing and Control in health monitoring.

Teaching Assignments:

  • Microprocessors and Its Applications, Wireless Communication and Networks, Satellite Communications, Fuzzy Sets, Logic & Systems and Applications, Basic Electronics Circuits & Electrical Engineering, Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic, Intelligent Instrumentation, Sensors and Actuators & Embedded System Design, Body Sensor Networks and Wireless Sensor Networks, Image Processing & Signal Processing

Currently, I'm doing research on wireless sensor networks/IoT/5G/6G, mainly focusing on MAC layer, Routing layer, Nerural Network, Signal Processing. I work on Linux Operating System, using Tcl/Otcl, C/C++, nesC, python and various scripting languages to implement my thoughts on network simulator NS2/NS3 and TinyOS nodes.

Wireless Communication, Cognitive Spectrum Analysis, Image Processing and Recognition, Neural Networks.

NS-2/NS-3 Trainer

Simulator Trainer (NS-2, NS-3, Python Based Tools and Matlab/Simulink)

Freelancer NS-2/NS-3 trainer (for Sensor Network, Cognitive Radio Networks, IoT, VANET, mmWave)

  • Wired/Wireless Protocol layer implementations, MAC layer, Routing/Network Layer, Queue Management, Quality of Service (QoS), Multiple Channels, Cognitive Radio/Vehicular Radio

Check out the progress from time to time! I keep adding stuff.

I feel that knowledge doesn’t come from degrees, but from experimenting things and experiencing life from all angles.

Not even the most brilliantly conceived and ingenious computer system can do all that it was designed to do-or even a small part of what it as designed to do – unless the brilliance of its operation and purpose is matched by the cunning simplicity of its user interface . (Hicks and Essinger, 1991)

  1. Whenever there is a hard job to be done ,I assign it to a lazy man ;He is sure to find an easy way of doing it. Walter Chrysler

  2. If you want to go quickly go alone, but if you want to go far,go together ! African proverb

  3. If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.Antoine de Saint-Exupery

If you know the enemy and know yourself , you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat . If you know neither the enemy nor yourself , you succumb in every battle. ( An observation made over 2400 years ago by Chinese General Sun Tzu)
