I am Rajas Sompurkar, currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics, IISER Pune under the mentorship of Prof. Diganta Borah.
I completed my Ph.D. in October, 2024 from the Department of Mathematics, IISc Bangalore under the guidance of Prof. Vamsi Pritham Pingali and Prof. Ved V. Datar.
Prior to that, I obtained my M.Sc. from the Department of Mathematics, IIT Bombay, and my B.Sc. from Sathaye College, Mumbai (affiliated to the University of Mumbai). My complete CV can be found here.
My research interests lie broadly in the areas of Kähler geometry and geometric analysis, and my research work deals with the study of canonical Kähler metrics and the analysis of certain geometric PDEs related to these metrics. A copy of my Ph.D. thesis (final defended version) can be found here.
