Rajashri Bag (born on April 27, 2002, in Konnagar, Hooghly, West Bengal) is an Indian singer, performer, and music artist best known for her soulful voice and versatile singing style. She gained nationwide recognition as the 1st Runner-Up of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2021–22) and was earlier among the Top 10 contestants of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs (2017). Born to Jayanta Kumar Bag and Rina Bag, Rajashri began her musical journey at the tender age of three under the guidance of her father. Her father played a crucial role in shaping her passion for music and encouraged her to take formal training from a very young age. 

She initially learned basic classical lessons from her first guru, Soumen Sir, and later received rigorous training in Hindustani classical music under Smt. Alpana Sengupta. Since 2015, she has been a disciple of Pandit Suvodeep Mukherjee, a senior student of Padma Bhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty. 

Rajashri began performing in competitions as a child, consistently earning top positions and winning numerous trophies across Bengal. Her dedication and persistence eventually led her to television reality shows. She was a Finalist in Doordarshan Bangla’s “Eto Sur Eto Gaan” (2013–14), a Final Audition Contestant in &TV’s “The Voice India Kids” (2016), and later achieved major national fame through Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs (2017) and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2021–22), where she emerged as the 1st Runner-Up. Rajashri has been performing live since the age of ten and has shared the stage with legendary playback singers like Mohammed Aziz, Shabbir Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Shahid Rafi (son of Mohammed Rafi), and Amit Kumar (son of Kishore Kumar). 

She has also performed alongside renowned Bengali film actors such as Dev and Prosenjit Chatterjee. Over the years, she has performed across India — including West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Raipur, Delhi, and Maharashtra — and currently performs with one of Mumbai’s leading musical troupes, the Hemant Kumar Musical Group. Alongside her performances, Rajashri actively connects with her audience through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, where her growing community appreciates her melodious renditions and heartfelt performances. She has also lent her voice to several songs in Himesh Reshammiya’s music albums, including tracks from the popular series “Himesh Ke Dil Se” such as “Tumm Jo Na Hotey” and “Meri Chudi Khanke.” 

Currently, Rajashri is pursuing her degree in Hindustani (Indian Classical) Music from the University of Mumbai, continuing to refine her artistry while working on her own original music album. Rajashri has collaborated with several notable music platforms, including Zee Music Company, under which her independent album “Ilzaam” was released, featuring multiple original tracks sung by her. Rajashri believes that “real success lies in touching hearts through music.” Her dream is to share her voice with people across the world and to create songs that will forever stay in their hearts.
