Outside of work, I am an amateur fine arts enthusiast. I paint and sketch using a variety of mediums, occasionally trying to learn new techniques. Here are some of my recent works (products of WorkFromHome-induced-boredom):

I also care deeply about Climate Change and try to keep myself updated with the global policies centered around this cause. I have been environmentally aware since I was a kid, and I believe being climate-change conscious should be one of the top-most priorities of every single person alive right now.

Here's a must-read: Bill Gates, "How to Avoid a Climate Disaster".

Since my school days, I have been proactive about spreading environmental awareness around topics of renewable energy and global warming. Most of my activities were through student volunteering in High School and participating in painting and poster-making events organized by various Non-Profit Organizations.

In 2007, I was awarded the Fourth Prize internationally by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) for my poster on Climate Change. 12-year old me was one of fourteen students picked across the globe for a UNEP-sponsored photo interview by Peter Ginter. Here is a very old picture of me holding an amplified version of my poster from the interview which was later published in National Geographic, Germany, and Panorama, Italy.

PS: 2007 was a long time ago when the kid in my poster (that I'm holding in the snapshot here) represented all the good hopes from our young generation, against the backdrop of melting glaciers.

I also love traveling and every time I take a vacation, it reinforces my conviction and urgency to save our beautiful planet. I hope to be able to do more towards this cause in the near future. Here are some of the pictures taken by me that I absolutely adore.
