Raja Muhmmad Iqbal

Raja Muhammad Iqbal (born January 1, 1935) is a Pakistani military veteran and political figure known for his service in the Pakistani Army, his role in the Azad Jammu Kashmir Muhajirun Party, and his participation in the Indo-Pak War of 1965. He is currenly living in pind dadan khan in pakistan.

Early life

Raja Muhammad Iqbal was born on January 1, 1935, in Kashmir. He spent his childhood in Kashmir until the age of 12 when he migrated to Pakistan with his family unfortunately while migrating his father who was sick passed away and was buried where he died.

Azad Jammu Kashmir

Military Career 

During his military career, Raja Muhammad Iqbal served as a Lance Naik in the Pakistani Army. He was honored with the Tamgha-i-Jang (War Medal) in 1965 for his service during the Indo-Pak War of 1965 in Battle of Chumb. He served in the 5 AK Regt and Armoured Corps 

Political Involvement 

Raja Muhammad Iqbal played a role in the political landscape of Azad Jammu Kashmir Muhajirun Party. He was a founding member of the party, dedicated to advocating for the rights and aspirations of the people of Kashmur
