Reflexology is a holistic therapy that uses targeted pressure on specific points of the feet that correspond to different systems and organs throughout the body. By stimulating these reflex points, reflexology helps encourage relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
“I’m worried about unattractive feet or being ticklish.”
There is no need to worry. Reflexology uses firm, grounding pressure that feels very different from a tickle. Gary has worked with every type of foot imaginable, and client comfort is always his priority.
Will it hurt?
Some reflex points may feel more tender than others—often referred to as “active” points. Pressure is always adapted to the individual, and Gary works closely with clients throughout the session to ensure comfort at all times.
Is reflexology ‘real’ science?
While reflexology is not a medical cure, it is widely recognised as a complementary therapy. Many health organisations, including the NHS in certain contexts, acknowledge its benefits. Reflexology has been shown to reduce cortisol (stress levels) and promote deep relaxation, supporting the body’s natural healing processes.
Will I experience a ‘healing crisis’?
Most clients leave feeling relaxed, light, and energised. Some may feel sleepy or notice increased hydration needs, which is a normal response to relaxation. Strong reactions are uncommon.
