Rainbow Preschool was established in September 1986 by Suzanne Evans and Charlotte Bear. The preschool operates in affiliation with Nokesville Church of the Brethren.
Our program at Rainbow Preschool focuses on the total development of your student. Learning, socialization, and fun are all included in our program.
Our curriculum is based on weekly themes. Our daily activities include free play, music, circle time, stories, projects, snack, as well as indoor and outdoor large motor play. A wide variety of art, science, and math opportunities are incorporated into our projects and activities. Our classes also use the Learning Without Tears curriculum and Scholastic Magazines throughout the year.
We promote the development of skills such as sharing, listening, and following directions to prepare your student for kindergarten. Above all, we hope to make your student's first school experience a happy and positive one.
Rainbow Preschool operates 8:30am - 12:00pm Monday through Friday.
