Rainbow Six Siege Hacks

If a player receives a temporary ban notice and a previous cheating attempt is found, he will receive a permanent ban.

Rainbow Six: Siege is a shooting game available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Ubisoft, the game's developer, establishes a Code of Conduct that reports what practices are considered illegal within the game and what are the punishments for players that cheat, and may be temporary and even permanent bans. Fairfight, a server-based anti-cheat platform, is used by Ubisoft as the primary method of identifying cheaters.

Using hacks and cheats is very common in games, but according to R6 rules, such practices are prohibited. The manufacturer's justification is that the player who uses an unauthorized modified version or third-party software gets an advantage and hinders the experience of other players. To make it even easier to combat the use of hacks, Ubisoft announced in early 2019 the MMR rollback feature to lessen the impact of cheating on the game's rankings. In addition to banning the player who broke the rules, the company will cancel the points achieved in victories and those lost in defeats in games where the cheater was.

Cheat usage by pro players on Rainbow Six Siege

Parabellum Esports suspended Loïc "Luiz" from their Rainbow Six lineup after the player was caught hacking. With that, the organization confirmed that the Canadian will not be in contention for the Six Invitational; the American team is in Group B, which has MIBR and Ninjas in Pyjamas, in addition to the Oxygen of Brazilian Leonardo "Kyno". This Wednesday, a video began circulating which showed Luiz allegedly abusing the cheat advantage to take down the enemy player, but the pro player soon defended himself in his personal account.

Luiz said that he wasn't using any cheats and that his kill was just luck. However, it didn't take long for FPS users to notice the banning notification of battlEye - a program to combat hacks and cheats - in relation to the now former Parabellum player.

After the banishment, Luiz made a twitlonger about the event, but moments later he deleted it. The player had confirmed that he was permanently banned on R6 for cheating. The ban that came manually - that is, it was done by an employee and not through a machine or computer - also disqualifies the player from any Ubisoft competition for a year - including the Six Invitational, in which Parabellum Esports already was classified.

The organization spoke through an official note on its Twitter and announced that the player was suspended indefinitely and without the right to receive payment. Parabellum also mentioned that Luiz was not in the official lineup, which will be revealed in the future to compete in the Worlds. Ubisoft has not publicly commented on the case so far.
